Notes: So, once upon a time I wrote a book, and it wasn't a very good book, so we're not gonna talk about the book. But, 3/4 of the people who actually voted in this month's poll decided that next month's Mondays should be characters from that book. Did that many of you even read it? I'm so sorry…

So, I'm trying to straighten out some poor decisions I made when I built these characters the first time, so they'll actually look good for a change. Or at least not as bad as they did about a billion years ago. Okay, okay, it's only about eleven. Maybe twelve. No postwork, because this is just a test, so expect some minor glitches.

First up, Ebony Arkady, drummer in our cranky protagonist's band. Arkady's often mistaken for the keyboardist's brother, and he likes it that way. They're the pretty ones, and he'll look pretty and harmless, as long as you don't give him any incentive to open his mouth.

Sky – The book is out.

After many months of insanity, some editing, some cursing, and some getting completely fed up, Sky is out. No shit.

Sky (print), 227 pgs, $12.50

Highly theoretical ebook edition will be out when I get around to it. If you notice any really glaring errors, let me know, so I can fix them for the second edition. Perils of not being able to afford a proper editor…

Autographed Copies:
So, that said, there are a few people who have asked for autographed copies, and to save on shipping, I'm going to try to do all of those at once. Cost for the book will be exactly the same, but shipping will be a little more, because it's gotta come to me, and then go back out to you. If you're interested in this option, drop me a message before 10/28 with your address (or at least the city), so I can estimate the shipping cost for you, before you commit to actually paying it. I'm looking to place the bulk order before Halloween, but shipping to me has the potential to take 6-8 weeks, so … yeah. If I get them to you before Christmas, it'll be an act of god.

That said, there are two autographed copies I'm putting on hold, for the winners of this ludicrous fanworks contest I'm about to start up. Pompous ass? Me? Yeah. But, I've got at least five fans, so it's worth a shot.

Notes: This goddamn render… I'm going to run a defrag, clear out all my temp files, and reboot the machine, tomorrow, and then try again to get this closer to the 300ppi I'm expected to deliver for the damn covers. Highest resolution I've been expected to produce, to this point, was 100ppi, and I can barely get it to render that large, without crashing. (And that's a small image, for the record — 613×925, which is what you see here.) Anyway, you guys have been watching me fight with this base image for months. The argument persists.
