Title: Soliloquy for a Burning Boxspring
Fandom: N/A
Characters: N/A
Rating: T
Warnings: Faint suggestions of questionable behaviour.
Notes: The other song from that epic spring break party. Yeah, we actually set a boxspring on fire in the back yard. It was fab. In the morning, we cooked pancakes over the few bits of wood that were left. This song has nothing to do with any of that.

Title: Persian Rhapsody
Fandom: N/A
Characters: N/A
Rating: T
Warnings: Faint suggestions of questionable behaviour
Notes: Pretty sure this was spring break 2002. I was at a truly excellent party, surrounded by fabulously gorgeous people who were all punching each other in the face. Yeah, I got in on that action. It was AWESOME. But, this is one of two songs from that epic event.

Title: The Flies
Rating: T
Warnings: Blasphemy, flies, death, angst
Notes: I dunno. It sounds a lot better than it looks. It's got lots of shouty bits. Found this one, undated, in Chrissie's handwriting, which gives me a little bit of a clue.

Title: The (Other) Spam Song
Rating: G-
Warnings: Put down your coffee, first. No, really.
Notes: Okay, this was totally for the lulz. My mum's boyfriend was the leader of a Boy Scout troop, and they called themselves 'The Spam Brigade', and even got patches for it, from Hormel. No shit. So, they used to filk pop songs, on hikes, but inserting the word 'spam' in place of other things. This resulted in classics like 'Black Hole Spam', and other utterly tea-spittingly good stuff. So, one night, I wrote them their very own song about spam.

Title: Crash and Burn
Rating: T
Warnings: Blasphemy, violence, surreal visions, pessimism
Notes: It's speed-punk. It's best done (as with so many things I did, back in the day) in a voice that sounds like mice on helium or an 80s pop singer in a tin-can. And apparently, it's also part of the 1995 set, and not the 1994 set, like I thought. I thought this was attributable to JesseDeer, but it's almost a whole year too late for that, so I haven't the faintest what I was thinking, here.

Title: Dragon Dreams
Rating: T
Warnings: Attempted suicide, angst
Notes: This happened somewhere in the first quarter of 1995. I'm guessing it was April, because I seem to recall the show I tried to play it in being in May. Note, 'tried'. I had to submit something else entirely, to get the slot, because this dealt with issues that no one really wanted some high school kids listening to… *waits a mo for the irony to sink in* Anyway, I think it was Doc I wrote this one for. It sounds suspiciously like Doc. *grins*

Title: Poison Pills
Rating: T
Warnings: Freaky-surreal angst, suggestions of a poisoning
Notes: It's a love song. I swear to god, it's a love song. This is another of the 1995 set, I think from that same first-quarter push for that show, so that's how I'm gonna date it… *crosses fingers*

Title: Torturing the Dead
Rating: T
Warnings: Violence
Notes: As far as years go, 1994 kind of sucked. Not as bad as, say, 1996 or 2008, but it was up there. Most of 1994, I probably won't be posting, because I was 13/14, and most of it's not even worth the effort to type out. However, there are a few that are SO EFFING WEIRD that they deserve a little page space. This is one.

Title: Dark Star
Fandom: N/A
Characters: N/A
Rating: G-
Warnings: Emo-fabulous teen angst
Notes: Fuck off. I was fourteen, at the time. … Actually, I might be overestimating the time, here. We still had AOL. I might have been thirteen… *shrugs* Anyway, I'm pretty sure this was 1994, so I'm just gonna pick a random date and stick with it.
