Notes: More Mayhem by Magelight, this is Pearle, the oracle. She needs her brothers to look after her, because she can't always see what's happening around her, because she's seeing what's going to happen a few seconds to hundreds of years later, at varying intensities. Still, when she can focus on the present, she's terrifying.

This is the original Pearle, from a decade ago, and I think I need to change her hair, because it really doesn't fit her well, and it's a pain in the ass to work with. I'm sure I have something better.

Notes: It's time for this week's Mayhem by Magelight pinup, and I'm introducing Mocker, another character I haven't done any work with in almost a decade. While this is how Mocker usually appears, when left to their own devices, they're actually a primordial ooze, and can take the form of almost anything, if they've had the time to study it. Perhaps obviously, they're better at copying features than creating them without a reference, so their unreferenced human forms usually sit in the uncanny valley.

Notes: For some reason, y'all nutters decided you wanted Aurelio's sibling-cousins as extras, this month, so let me introduce Morny, as his sibling-cousins call him. When he was nameless, he was called one or another local words for a bat with nails through it, culminating in 'Morningstar' (one of the few clerical weapons that'll leave you bloody!) He prefers Kurt, these days.

He's half redcap, soaks his hair in blood, eats raw meat, and has multiple rows of teeth, like a shark (which… does not come through in this image). But, you know, just a dude. Doin' dude things. Like keeping goats and hunting deer barehanded.

Notes: Ladles and jellyspoons, another face I haven't worked with in a Long Ass Time, Emoric, who is not, in fact, a smith, but can't pass up the occasional pose with a big hammer. I swear it's just because he's short. Emoric's more into cast bronze. Makes an inordinate number of gears and then assembles them into bizarre steam-powered contraptions and puzzleboxes. He is also, in most parts of the story he appears in, a ghost and thus stuck talking to the necromancer in the party.
