It's based on an apartment that is not in Boston, at all, but is — or was — in a brownstone on Henry St, in New York. My memory of the place is more than twenty years old, so I know some of the walls are in completely bizarre places, but this one's shot in the kitchen (or lack thereof), and I know I got that right — right down to the yellow appliances.
