Notes: So, I just spent thirteen hours working on Sullivan. He's supposed to have some really gorgeous scarring on his chest, but the damned displacement maps won't play nice, so I'm probably just going to leave that be, for now. I managed to get the ones on his face working, at least. Depending on what angle I render him from, he looks like about five people I know, and none of that was intentional.

Warnings: A dude in a loincloth with a pike.
Notes: So, like… months ago, I said I was going to add a couple of Redcaps to my repertoire. Finnegan and Sullivan were the obvious choices, since they've already appeared in a few scenes. You'll notice this character and the next one I'm about to do will look a whole lot alike, but it's because they're brothers. Finnegan's actually the tall and skinny one, for certain values of 'tall' and 'skinny', which really only make sense after you see Sullivan. Notice the iron boots and iron pike. Finnegan breaks with tradition, a bit, in that he doesn't wear a hat, but the rag tied around his forehead is soaked in blood, although I need to tweak the colour a little more so it's dried blood colour, instead of mud colour. These are going to be labelled 'Winter', instead of 'Potterverse', despite having only appeared in Death Eater-related scenes, until this point, because they're not really mythos-specific, and will fit pretty much anywhere you've got room to stick Redcaps.

Warnings: I'm going for PG instead of G, because it's Pinhead. I don't really have a tag for 'dude's got pins sticking in his face'.
Notes: So, I feel like I should explain myself… *coughs* Point the first, I've been unable to find an actual Pinhead outfit for M4 or any other male figure. So, he's dressed funny. Outfit is Mourning Sun. Point the second, those are the pins and skin from V4 Quilty, because sometimes I do have the kung fu skills to make things like that work, but this time, the pins don't quite line up with the intersections, in a few places. Point the third, this is totally my mothers' day gift for my mum, who is a big fan, and got me hooked on Hellraiser (and the rest of Clive Barker's work) in the 80s. Hopefully, by next year, I'll be able to mangle together something that looks a little more accurate…

Notes: So, it came up that I might be needing a fantasy-Arabian prince for some upcoming work. Fortunately, I had Lux, who was almost perfect for the job. About half an hour of tweaking later, and some shouting at the dynamic fabric, and here's our unnamed prince! Apparently, he collects magical creatures, so expect another test shot involving a unicorn or a gryphon or something. No postwork, so, yeah, the edges on the dunes are a little sharp.

This one's a glass and liquids test, since one of the first things I have to do, once I'm sure everything works, involves a very large glass object.
