Title: Early Morning of the Mind
Fandom: Avatar
Characters: Iroh, Zuko
Rating: G-
Warnings: None
Notes: Reflections on the nature of failure. I wrote this for a contest, the prompt for which was 'failure'. I did not win.

Title: On the Wheel
Fandom: Avatar
Characters: Zuko, Katara, Aang, Toph, Sokka
Rating: G-
Warnings: Angst
Notes: This was the first fandom I wrote fic for. All men are tied to fortune's wheel and as it turns, some rise while others are crushed beneath it. Having dragged himself from beneath the wheel, Zuko must decide how to recover the wreckage of his life. ((Later chapters were never written. When Season 2 continued, after The Desert, this story became pointless.))

Title: The Sins of Ill-Tempered Love
Fandom: N/A
Characters: Unnamed
Rating:
Warnings: Angst, expletives
Notes: Those who can identify the roots from which this tale has sprung are cordially invited to shut the fuck up and keep it to themselves. Those roots are not a matter for public conversation and no one will be pleased if they become one — least of all the first to speak. The tale is separated enough from those roots to be suitable for telling.

Title: Snapesicle
Fandom: HP
Characters: Severus Snape
Rating: G-
Warnings: Angst
Notes:This story is roughly canon compliant through HBP, although the story doesn't extend that far. I confess to having taken a few non-essential liberties with things that were not discussed or were not discussed in detail.
[Ported from Occlumency in 12/2009.]

Title: Lily for the Dead
Fandom: HP
Characters: Severus Snape, Lily Evans
Rating: T
Warnings: Angst
Notes: I know that "There is only one woman in the world. One woman, with many faces." is from The Last Temptation of Christ. It just keeps repeating itself into my mind, and thusly my stories. "The living dead / And the dying living" is from a Stromkern song that came on while I was writing this. I don't recall the title. I trashed the original last line because it started bugging the shit out of me after I originally released it. (Originally released on Occlumency, but I've become dismayed with the stability of Sycophant Hex.)
[Ported by request since the archive link is no longer working. I will be porting all my fiction here, in time.]

Title:Â Division of the Whole
Fandom:Â Vortex
Characters:Â Chocho, Inuchan, Robin
Rating: T
Warnings:Â Expletives like whoa
Notes:Â I started this one in 2003, and then, I just stopped caring as my life collapsed into a flaming pile of shit around my ears. I'll probably never finish it.

Title: Butterflies and Coffee
Characters: Ume-kun, Serapi
Rating: G-
Warnings: None
Notes: Wrote this in 1999, late summer, maybe early fall. This one was for J.S., who I seem to have offended the shit out of shortly after this. We haven't spoken since December of the following year, if not before that… Time gets fuzzy as it passes, but it's been a good many years.

Title: Chronicles of Vortex: You play, you win.
Characters: Serapi, NextX, Gunslinger (and Robin, in passing)
Rating: G
Warnings: None
Notes: I wrote this in 1999. In pen. I've tried to clean up the parts that are the fault of writing swiftly and in pen.

Title: Egypt Underground
Characters: Thoth, Sekhet, Bast, Isis, Mut, Min, Apis, Anuket… Most of the Egyptian pantheon
Rating: G-
Warnings: Protagonists are … honourable thieves.
Notes: Written in the winter of 1998, this predates The Matrix, but when the movie came out, I gave up dev, because it was just close enough to be called a cheap knock-off.

Title: A Cowboy, an Offworlder, and a Killer for Shoes
Characters: Julia Roarke, Amelia Bayer, Marc Marquette, William/Willie, Doug Burke, and an unfortunate poodle.
Rating: T
Warnings: Bad grammar, murder, animal cruelty.
Notes: Written in 1998, with three other people from my class, for an assignment in collaborative writing. If I'm not mistaken, the characters (except the offworlder) are theirs, and the writing is primarily mine. Yes, I know there's a sudden tense shift. I take full responsibility for that. Also, the text of this post was OCR'ed from the only copy left, so I'm slowly editing it into legibility.
