Title: Bananaconda With Cake
Fandom: N/A
Characters: F-listNatsudra
Rating: Rating: PG (L0 N1 S0 V0 D0)
Warnings: Minimally clothed naga. If you don't like snake-ladies, this is not for you.
Notes: I dunno. Chatserver went to hell, so I made more art of staff members. That happens. Technically, more cobra than anaconda, but it's Nats, and Nats is the bananaconda. And that is the way of things.

Title: Class Distinctions
Fandom: Magelight
Characters: Durand , Frost
Rating: Rating: R (L0 N3 S0 V0 D0)
Warnings: Nude dudes
Notes: So, I ended up sticking with the title this had in my working folder, which looks a little weird, but I just had this moment, looking at Durand and Frost, together, and comparing to popular depictions of labourers and aristocrats of the last few centuries. Durand, the stonemason, who is burly, tanned, hairy, and scarred (though I think he's facing the wrong way for the enormous scar on his face to show) beside Frost, fae playboy of one of the royal houses, who is lithe, pale, almost hairless, and unmarked. I have no idea why this time, that's what stood out, but it did.

Title: Enraptured by Cake
Fandom: N/A
Characters: F-listTeal Deer , F-listBarbarian , F-listNoah Campbell
Rating: Rating: PG (L0 N1 S0 V0 D0)
Warnings: Anthro deer, minimal clothing, totally ridiculous scene
Notes: Did I not threaten you with birthday art? I think I did. And I have delivered, however ridiculous this image may be.

Title: Tamiel & Galharda
Fandom: Magelight
Characters: Tamiel , Galharda
Rating:Rating: <span style=T" src="https://penbrydd.groundline.net/wp-content/luxintenebris/rating/PG13.jpg" width="32px" /> (L0 N2 S0 V0 D0)
Warnings: A demoness with half a shirt, showing a lot of leg.
Notes: So, this is one of those things that goes a little better if you've got context. There is a demon/fallen angel called Verrier, who is "Prince of Principalities, and tempts men against the vow of obedience, and makes the neck stiff and hard as iron, and incapable to stoop under the yoke of obedience." (Hell's Hierarchy, 1612) In constructing Magelight, we built Verrier's family as imperial anarchists — they'll help you overthrow, as long as you keep overthrowing what they want you to, and don't turn against them. They spread their empire of rioters to wherever they can find an unstable situation to exploit. Revolution? The House of Verrier was there. More on these two below the cut.

Title: Kings of Messina
Fandom: N/A
Characters: Lysimachus , Damianos , Lux
Rating: G- (L0 N1 S0 V0 D0)
Warnings: Shirtless dudes
Notes: I kind of see this as Lysimachus and his totally unlikely supernatural companions more or less playing king of the mountain on one of the hills overlooking the Strait of Messina. Which is where Lysimachus is from, so… look, context. In actuality, I'm working on my (lack of) skill with anything darker than a Norse vampire. Also, yes, Damianos shaved his head. Why? Because his hair refused to render. IDFK.

Title: Lysimachus – Test
Fandom: N/A
Characters: Lysimachus
Rating: Rating: <span style=T" src="https://penbrydd.groundline.net/wp-content/luxintenebris/rating/PG13.jpg" width="32px" /> (L0 N2 S0 V0 D0)
Warnings: Naked naiad with an awful lot of hair.
Notes: So, I was reading a whole lot about people of colour in Greek and Roman art, and then I went to sleep and I had this completely weird dream, in which Charybdis was stealing the genes of the sailors she swallowed, and vomiting up mix and match children, who were all part-naiad, like their mother. And then art while low blood sugar. *laughs* Anyway, here's Lysimachus, bastard son of Charybdis and a ship full of Lydian traders. No postwork, only half a brain.

Title: The End of the Night
Fandom: N/A
Characters: F-listKerrith , Jehan
Rating: G (L0 N0 S0 V0 D0)
Warnings: None.
Notes: Two French vampires having a bit of a laugh in the road, just before daybreak. Kerrith is a few centuries older, as I recall, and a whole lot less emotive, despite the broad smile, here. Jehan is a bit more outré, distinctly flamboyant, a swaggering fabulist who fancies himself the next Cyrano. Also, I wish to hell Picasa wold stop autocorrecting the colour balance and brightness on my images, because this was darker, and Jehan wasn't GREEN. :|

Title: A Scholarly Debate
Fandom: N/A
Characters: Cædmon , Drost
Rating: Rating: <span style=T" src="https://penbrydd.groundline.net/wp-content/luxintenebris/rating/PG13.jpg" width="32px" /> (L0 N0 S0 V2 D0)
Warnings: A whole lot of facepunching.
Notes: So, you know me and academia. *snrk* I know I've introduced these two before, but I'll do it again. Cædmon is a scholar, above all things, but he's very much an outdoor sort of scholar. A student of the wild, an archaeologist, an anthropologist, and a shaman. He's one of a coterie of nerds from the lesser houses of Summer, who's managed to stumble into a spot as one of the court historians. Drost, of course, is essentially his Winter counterpart. More an indoor wizard, than an outdoor shaman, Drost tends heavily toward book-learning. Languages, written histories, art history, and architecture are his preferred fields. Needless to say, their fields overlap. And there is usually a war on. But, scholars have never needed politics for times like these — just egos. (Reposted because I'm an idiot and included the unedited image the first time…)

Title: Living Dolls
Fandom: N/A
Characters: Emmett , Artemisia
Rating: G- (L0 N1 S0 V0 D0)
Warnings: There's a lot of skin.
Notes: He's a bronze-boned, steam-powered android, given life by the Hebrew word etched in his forehead, underneath his worn artificial skin. She's a golem, raised in plague-ridden Venice, from the blood of seven camels, magic, and spare parts. Why I've never gotten my golems in the same image, until now, just escapes me. Anyway, boxed dolls on the window shelf coming to life while no-one's looking. Why? Because once I saw it, I couldn't make it go away.
