There was one reason that Sam loved his brother's single-syllable name. It came out so cleanly between his teeth, in a frustrated sigh, and he didn't have to unlock his jaw, or peel the horrified expression off his face. And right now, Dean was extraordinarily lucky to be his brother, because after that last line, Sam's pretty sure he'd just have stuck that angel blade he's holding into anyone else.
