Notes: So, after totally failing to finish -two- fics I started this week, I've put them aside and thrown this thing together. After getting Nox in his plague doctor robes, I just had to go somewhere with that. So, here's his golem assistant, Artemisia (which was a perfectly appropriate name for the time and place. Two queens and a painter that I can name off the top of my head, across a span of nearly a millennium.)
"Go ahead and change for the gentlemen, Artie." He turned the creature's head toward him with his pointer, and it gave him a look of driest amusement, before it complied, never making more of a motion than was necessary to adjust to the new shape.
"My assistant, gentlemen. The finest creation bestowed upon me by our distinguished and now deceased colleague."
