Notes: So, I was working with the Inn. Seems I can only get one figure at a time to render in it, or it just crashes, trying. This makes me unhappy. I tried saving the set out as a single .obj file, because sometimes that helps. Yeah, except the part where it completely mis-applied half the textures. Anyway, here's one with Frost, one half-posed test-shot with Frost and Yaz (miracle of miracles) and one completely unrelated shot that I finally got halfway right, after poking it on and off since like … March.

Title: Frosted Falls

Warnings: That's not a mini, it's a belt.
Notes: So, all of my save files are shot, until I can recreate the object data for them. What's this mean, practically? Well, I have to load and re-save about thirty thousand files, until I can successfully get the objects to load into the saved files like they're supposed to. In the mean time, you get to watch me piss around with stuff I didn't even know I had, because I probably have to save it out anyway. Also? New computer is fucking awesome. Rendered this in about 15 minutes, with raytracing on. That would have been a two or three hour render, before. OMG, decent lighting, here I come. Also, dear self? Don't shoot at an angle where the shadow is visible on the fog plane. Not cool.

Title: Bathing Beauties

Warnings: Three naked guys and a hookah.
Notes: Not much to say about this one. I'd been looking for an excuse to use Dark and that set in the same image, since I first saw the set. Unfortunately, the native textures for the water and the hookah kind of suck, so I ended up using Sha's gold shader (which is the only viable gold shader I've found, despite having like four) and this awesome tutorial on making water that doesn't suck. And despite the fact that no one is smoking anything in that hookah, at the mo, I'm thinking the look on Dark's face says 'I could be significantly more stoned, with very little effort'.

Notes: I originally did this as one of the first images of Frost, and I remembered really liking it. Since then, the figure and textures have evolved, and I decided to re-shoot this old classic with the new Frost. Unfortunately, it turned out I'd screwed up the original file, and the lighting was completely bogged, so it's been re-lit. It's also larger, because I hope that once I work out the bugs in the face, it'll be suitable to use for June, in the calendar.
