Title: Son of a Lord
Fandom: (That picturebook…)
Characters: Malachai Schade, his dad
Rating: G (L0 N0 S0 V0 D0)
Warnings: None
Notes: I've been screwing with this for a month. It still bugs the crap out of me, but a little less so, now. I'm taking suggestions on what's wrong with it, because it's gotten to where I really can't tell, but I know it's not right.

Title: Starshippy
Fandom: ST: TOS (Zahvan t'Masu)
Characters: Spock, Larue (OC), Starek (OC)
Rating: G (L0 N0 S0 V0 D0)
Warnings: None.
Notes: I love Starek's face in this. He looks like he's going to barf. "Oh, what? Are we really doing this? Are we really doing this on subspace? Fffff… They're going to kill my parents. Are you sure my face is blurred out? Really?" And Larue's all, "Don't worry, honey, if he throws up on your uniform, I'll get the drycleaning." But really, I've half-finished like three or four things, and everything looks like ass, including this, but at least this I can write off as 'starships have shitty lighting anyway'.

Title: Experiments in Dragon – 03&04
Fandom: N/A
Characters: some kid, some dragon
Rating: G (L0 N0 S0 V0 D0)
Warnings: None
Notes: Finished building the wing templates, so now the wings *gasp* match the rest of the dragon! Also, yay for make pattern in Photoshop. pattern-filling scales is so much easier than trying to paste things so they line up.

Title: Experiments in Dragon – 01&02
Fandom: N/A
Characters: some kid, some dragon
Rating: G (L0 N0 S0 V0 D0)
Warnings: None
Notes: I've done… pretty much no work with dragons, but I have heard that there may be someone interested in getting me to do some work involving a dragon, so I figured I should see what I can do, and get the texture templates sorted out and all. These first ones are using a pair of platemail shaders, wings from DragonBreath's dragonhearts textures, and Gemologica on the horns and claws. The only texture template I've successfully sectioned, so far, is the eye texture, so those blue eyes are all mine, not that you can really make them out, at this size.

Title: Don't Mess With Spyke
Fandom: N/A
Characters: SpykeTyranno, an anthro goat dude
Rating: G- (L0 N1 S0 V1 D0)
Warnings: Goat-dude has been punched out.
Notes: Commission for SpykeTyranno. The request was for an urban fight scene, and here's our man flattening some … goat dude? I'm not really sure. I'm sticking with 'goat' and 'artistic liberties' on that one. Unfortunately, all attempts to render this image larger than 1800×1800 resulted in the program imploding with no error, so that's as big as it gets.

Title: Razor's Edge
Fandom: Lost Souls
Characters: Zillah
Rating: G- (L0 N1 S0 V0 D0)
Warnings: Mostly-shirtless vampire with a straightrazor. No blood.
Notes: I don't know why this took me four days. Really, I don't. Possibly because it was an indoor scene and I had to light it by hand, and I hate lighting things by hand. Also, dimly-lit bars are a bitch. There is a lot of post in this one. Three separate layers, with different contrast settings. If you can't tell? That means I might not suck at this.

Title: He Loves Me Not
Fandom: Lost Souls AU
Characters: Zillah, Malachai Schade
Rating: M (L0 N3 S0 V1 D0)
Warnings: Nudity, threats with sharp things
Notes: I don't even know. I was putting some stuff away, and I just went 'Oh, I know what to do with that!' *shrugs* Also, those thigh straps? Gemologica. It has some bitchin' fine cloisonne shaders. (What did I buy with a gift card? *looks innocent*) And, yes, if I'm ever arsed to shoot it bigger, I'll move the camera a little to the left. Looks like I bumped it at some point. Or, you know, I'll shoot it at 4×5, like not an asshole.

Title: I Got You a Thing!
Fandom: N/A
Characters: A centaur and a chakat
Rating: G- (L0 N1 S0 V0 D0)
Warnings: There are no clothes, but they're covered in fur. I think that counts.
Notes: I picked up the freebie kits for the M4/MilHorse centaur and the V4/MilBigCat felitaur. Takes a little getting used to the posing, but they work great. I will point out that changing the human figure's hips, or moving the hips, or moving the animal figure's 'Neck2' node will break shit, so if you've got pokethrough and weird intersections, that is the problem. Go poke it with a stick. Also, human figures are parented to 'Neck1', so any pose that moves the neck on the animal figure will have weird-shit results, and will probably need to be tweaked. But, really, they look great... Except for the horse's legs, which is totally a texture problem with the horse. GLOSSY LEGS? REALLY? Tch.

Title: Cornered
Fandom: Magelight
Characters: Morningstar
Rating: T (L0 N2 S0 V0 D0)
Warnings: There's a lot of skin.
Notes: So, I finally got an answer to the problem I was having with this one. Twenty frames of animation is the solution to my dynamic clothing glitch. Who'd have thunk? Anyway, all the scrounging for ship parts for the last vampire image put this one in my head. Something something gamma, this probably looks clearer on an LCD display than it does on my CRT.

Title:Â Drow Hunter
Fandom: D&D
Characters: some drow dude
Rating: G- (L0 N1 S0 V0 D0)
Warnings:Â Shirtless dude.
Notes: This is really just me screwing around with UberSurface. While I was looking for help with something I actually meant to be doing today, I tripped over some handy tips for making drow skin look less shitty, so I took a break and tried them out. This is like two hours of screwing around, and I'm not entirely displeased with it. I suspect I'd turn up the spec glossiness, in the future.
